Hi Alan, I think you should back to the dealer who fitted the EGR valve and tell him to fix it properly. I sometimes have problems with the EGR valves [two on the S type] and I use one of two options to clean it up. The first is a good blast down the A38, and the second is a canister of Wynns Diesel EGR clean for around £9. 2) Good airflow through through the condenser (in front of the radiator) for proper heat transfer. 3) Good performance from the compressor. 4) The correct amount of refrigerant in the system.
