Fantastic customer service. You can actually speak to a person (Tamara, in my case) knowledgeable and helpful. She followed up with emails and my issue was resolved within 12 hours of initial contact and my Humax set top box was at my front door via DHL that same day. I couldn’t ask for any more 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.
This issue is typically caused by a HDMI connection issue between your Humax box and TV. To resolve, please follow the steps below: • First switch off any HDMI CEC options on your TV (see the bottom of this email for a list of HDMI CEC options) • Switch your TV off at the mains. • Switch the Humax off at the mains.
To control the product, the top end of the remote control should point directly towards the receiving part of the product. Remove and reinsert the batteries in the remote control. Replace the batteries in the remote control for a new set. Set the remote control to STB or PVR mode, if you are using the universal remote control. (where applicable)
If you encounter channels missing from your TV guide, put your Set Top box into standby for 30 seconds and then switch it back on again. This should see everything restored; If this does not work you’ll need to do a quick 'Freesat channel scan'. If you do perform a Freesat channel scan, it’s worth making a note of your scheduled recordings
My box is not turning on. Our 4K Set Top Box has a light indicator to let you know what mode your box is in. If there is no light displaying on your box, this may indicate that the power adapter is not connected properly. If there is no light indicator on your box, check the power adapter is plugged into the wall, with the wall socket switched on.
