However, it might be slightly redundant to use them both since the Effaclar duo contains LHA, which is essentially a gentler form of BHA. If your skin is already sensitized from using actives, I might hold off on using both of them at the same time. As for avoiding dehydration, I might start by looking for a different sunscreen.
Effaclar duo+ If I gave one HG La Roche Posay product it's this. I pretty much always have a tube around even if I'm not actively using it because it's the one product I can always come back to. Doesn't single handedly cure acne for me but it helps with acne and pigmentation and is a nice lightweight gel texture and soothing. Also sunscreens.
La Roche Posay effaclar duo (+) salicylic acid version. Simple light hydrating moisturiser. La Roche Posay cicaplast blume B5. sun aqua sunscreen. I've been having a pretty bad purge from effaclar and I'm thinking of switching my cleanser since cetaphil does nothing to my skin. please do suggest gentle cleansers that worked for you ^.

Avoided gluten like the plague. Also exercised twice a week (running). I was pretty healthy back then. But I also was severely depressed. And noooow
Maybe switch to a gentle cleanser by La Roche posay like a milk, crème, or sensitive skin cleanser. + a crème or the fluid moisturizer from LRP not an acne kind, it might dry you out more. I can feel your frustration and eagerness wanting to get clear skin but you really need patience and understanding.
[Acne] Have been using La Roche Posay Effaclar duo for 7 weeks and am breaking out like crazy Acne I bought this in France so I think it is the European one with salicylic acid, I have been sticking to it thinking it’s just a purge, but now at 7 weeks with lots of breakouts and red marks - should I continue or give up?
