Diablo 4’s world is a depressing one. Life is a struggle for the denizens of Sanctuary and every choice has a cost. Unlike Diablo 3, humor is used sparingly. This darker tone is reflected in the I expect by a year span, the game will change and rather get closer to Diablo 3 or Diablo 2 more. Sadly, by doing that it loses the opportunity of becoming a unique experience as they will keep all the good stuff for Diablo 4. D:I emphasizes on multiplayer yet it divides the community apart even harder than Diablo 3. Diablo 1 had more atmosphere then Diablo 2. It was scarier and darker. The world felt more coherent because everything took place in one area. You really had a sense of descending into hell, step by step and inch by inch. Diablo 2 improved many things. Looks far worse with the textures scaled. (far worse than Diablo 3 as well) They just didn't give enough graphics options on this game. Shadows for example, are all dynamic and all objects cast shadows based on where your character stands. (Crysis did this with the position of the sun, and was similarly hard to run for its time).
